Pizza Friday

What better way to head into the weekend than with pizza!

Here at 77 Stokes Croft, our co-working residents took time out of their busy day to enjoy some freshly made pizza from No. 51, just a few doors down from our office. Located in the heart of Stokes Croft, we’re surrounded by awesome cafe’s and food outlets, including plenty of veggie and vegan options.

Often co-working spaces are buzzing, hard-working places, so we all agreed it was great to all have a break, a chat and some tasty food. Pizza really does bring people together!

Our residents include freelancers, remote workers and social entrepreneurs. Having social events encourages collaboration and inspiration – exactly what we believe in here at 77 Stokes Croft. Working alone can be isolating, so being part of a co-working space (especially a friendly, pizza-loving one) can be of huge benefit to your productivity and job satisfaction.

Macmillan Coffee Morning

On 30th of September we held a coffee morning to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. We took a break from our desks and ate cakes, drank coffee and played games.

Although we were overflowing with cake donations, we only had two entrants in our cake competition, but what we lacked in numbers we made up for in sumptuousness. There was a delicious courgette cake (I know, right?) baked by James and a to-die-for lemon drizzle from Laura. It was a difficult decision but James was crowned the winner and given a bottle of Prosecco. He thought it best not to open it at work as he’d probably fall asleep at his computer.

We raised over £130 for Macmillan at our coffee morning – not bad for a massive cake and coffee binge! We look forward to our next charity event and are always open to suggestions from our residents.
