On 30th of September we held a coffee morning to raise money for Macmillan cancer; we had a break from our desks, ate cakes, drank coffee and played games.
Although we were overflowing with cake donations, we only had two entrants in our cake competition, but what we lacked in numbers, we made up for in sumptuousness. There was a delicious courgette cake (I know right?) baked by James and a to-die-for lemon drizzle from Laura. It was a difficult decision but James was crowned the winner and given a bottle of Prosecco.
We raised over £130 for Macmillan, not bad for a massive cake and coffee binge, if only all our lapses in self control raised so much money.
